To reach the Courthouse from Interstate 80:

1.   Take I-80 East past the 42nd Street exit.

2.   Stay in the right lane. From I-80 East take I-480 North to downtown Omaha.

3.   From I-480 North, take the Harney Street exit. Harney is a one way street going east.

4.   Take Harney east until you reach the block where the Civic Center and Hall of Justice are located. They are on the block surrounded by 19th Street on the West; 17th Street on the East; Farnam Street on the North and Harney Street on the South.

To reach the Courthouse from Dodge Street:

1.   Take Dodge Street east until you reach 20th Street; it is a one-way street heading south.

2.   Go south on 20th Street to Harney. Harney is approximately four blocks from Dodge.

3.   Go east on Harney to the Civic Center.

PARKING:

1.   Public parking is available under the Civic Center on a first-come first-serve basis. The cost is approximately $3.00 for the day. To enter the parking garage, come down Harney Street from the east and it is approximately ½ block east of 19th Street off Harney. From the parking garage you will take the elevators to the "H" or Harney Street level, turn east and walk through an above ground "tunnel" that connects the Civic Center and the Courthouse/Hall of Justice. If there are no openings in the garage, a sign will so indicate.

2.   There are a few meters on the streets around the Courthouse and you may use them if available.

3.   There are limited spaces available in a parking garage near the OPPD offices at 444 South 16th Street Mall. There is an hourly charge for parking.
